There are seemingly a thousand and one technology tools available to help you accomplish all the things you need to get done in a typical workday. From communicating with your team, planning and building out projects, creating presentations and visuals, conducting virtual meetings, note-taking, managing email, creating surveys, organizing and handling files, the list goes on and on.

Often times in the church setting you see staff getting frustrated with their ChMS. This usually occurs when they don’t fully understand how the ChMS operates. This frustration can cause you to look for the “new and improved” software that will solve all of your problems.

Microsoft 365’s OneDrive (and Teams/SharePoint) file sharing is a super helpful tool for accessing your files from anywhere on any device and sharing those files with coworkers and other collaborators. However, there is a “trick” to fix issues opening shared OneDrive links and making this file sharing process seamless. 

You are busy, and your technology doesn’t seem to understand that you don’t have time for glitches. You’re already late for your meeting and of course now the printer decides not to work. Cybersecurity attacks can feel like vague, distant, ambiguous things that “happen to other people.” It’s easy to kid ourselves into thinking we’d never fall for a cyberattack, but the unfortunate reality is that this happens to incredibly smart and accomplished people all of the time. Cybersecurity attacks aren’t so obvious anymore, and they’re not passive either. Schemes have gotten sneakier, more personal, and usually involve actively tricking a user.
